How AUTOZAP collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes personal data, including data we access through the WhatsApp Business Platform and Google services on behalf of our business customers.
This platform is operated by AUTOZAP, a sole proprietorship registered in India (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-MH-26-1233974), with its registered place of business at Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra 411028, India.
In this policy, "Autozap", "we", "us" and "our" mean AUTOZAP. "You" means a visitor to this website or a business that subscribes to our services ("Customer"). "End User" means an individual who communicates with one of our Customers through our platform.
For the personal data of our own Customers and website visitors, Autozap is the data fiduciary / controller. For the personal data that a Customer processes through our platform about their own contacts and End Users, the Customer is the controller and Autozap acts as a data processor on that Customer's instructions.
Where you use our voice calling features, the platform creates a recording and/or a written transcript of calls made or received through it, together with call metadata such as the number dialled, time, duration and outcome. These are stored against the relevant contact in your account and are visible only to you and, where strictly necessary for support or fault diagnosis, to authorised Autozap staff.
Recording a telephone call may require you to notify the other party, and in some cases to obtain their consent, depending on the law that applies to you and to them. You are responsible for meeting that obligation. We recommend disclosing at the start of a call that it is being handled by an automated assistant and, where applicable, that it is recorded.
We do not use your call recordings or transcripts to train machine learning models.
Where you connect a third-party account to Autozap (such as a WhatsApp Business Account or a Google account), we access data from that account in order to provide the service you asked for. This is described in sections 3 and 3A.
Autozap integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"). When you connect your WhatsApp Business Account to Autozap, you do so through Meta's own Embedded Signup flow and you grant Autozap permission to act on your behalf.
| Data | Why we access it |
|---|---|
| WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) ID and business phone number ID | To identify your account and route messages to the correct number. |
| Business profile information | To display and, where you ask, update your WhatsApp business profile. |
| Message templates and their approval status | To let you view, select and send approved templates. |
| Messages sent and received through your connected number | To deliver messages, show conversation history in your inbox, and trigger the automations you configure. |
| Message delivery and read status | To show delivery reporting and to stop or retry automations correctly. |
| End User phone numbers and WhatsApp display names | To identify the contact a conversation belongs to. |
If you use Autozap to message End Users, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and, where required, valid opt-in consent to contact them, and for honouring opt-out requests. You must comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and with applicable law.
Our AI Business Employee product can connect to your Google account so that it can publish content and show you performance data on your behalf. This happens only if you choose to connect, through Google's own sign-in and consent screen, and only for the permissions you approve.
| Google service | Permission (scope) | What we access and why |
|---|---|---|
| Blogger | https://www.googleapis.com/auth/blogger |
Your list of blogs, so you can choose one, and the ability to publish the posts you approve to it. |
| Google Business Profile | https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage |
Your Business Profile accounts and locations, so you can choose one, and the ability to create the posts you approve on it. |
| Google Search Console | https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly |
Read-only access to the list of sites you have verified and their search performance (queries, clicks, impressions, pages), so we can show you what is working. We cannot change anything in your Search Console. |
We also receive the basic account identifiers Google returns when you connect (for example the email address of the Google account), so we can show you which account is connected.
You can withdraw Autozap's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have the Google data we have stored deleted, email pankaj@autozap.in from your registered address with the subject line Data deletion request. We will confirm within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Content already published to your Blogger blog or Business Profile belongs to you and stays there unless you remove it.
Autozap's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only as follows:
All service providers are engaged under contracts that limit them to processing data for the purposes we specify.
Platform data is hosted on servers located in India. Some of our service providers, including Meta and Google, operate infrastructure outside India, so certain data may be processed in other countries. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the data continues to be protected to the standard described in this policy.
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:
To exercise any of these, email pankaj@autozap.in. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.
Customers. Email pankaj@autozap.in from your registered address with the subject line Data deletion request. We will confirm within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
End Users. If you were messaged by a business using Autozap and want your data removed, contact that business directly; they control the data. You may also email us at pankaj@autozap.in and we will forward your request to them and assist with deletion.
We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encryption of data in transit over TLS, encryption of stored access tokens and credentials, access controls limiting staff access to what is required, and regular backups. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
This website and the platform use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand aggregate usage. Essential cookies are required for the platform to work. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but parts of the platform may stop working if you do.
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If we make a material change, we will notify Customers by email or through the platform before it takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised policy.
